Position Title: Project Engineer

Position Duties Summary: 

As a Project Engineer you will be a key player in designing, planning, and executing civil infrastructure projects. Your technical expertise and innovative approach will support the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions, contributing to the growth and success of our organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and make a significant impact in the Houston Metropolitan area.

 

Responsibilities: Develop engineering designs, conduct site assessments, and plan infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. Oversee construction to meet timelines, budgets, and quality targets, providing technical expertise and problem-solving throughout. Manage project finances, prepare detailed reports, and drive collaboration among stakeholders. Mentor team members, promote quality and safety, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, sustainability, and profitability.                                             

 

Position Requirements:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in an engineering field (foreign equivalent degrees accepted).

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in engineering, preferably in civil infrastructure or construction projects.

• Understanding and experience with construction processes, designs, plans, operations, techniques, and materials.

• Proficiency in computer aided design software and tools such as Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Familiarity with construction and civil engineering regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., civil construction codes, specifications, safety regulations).

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

• Experience managing complex projects and multi-tasking.
